Questions

Good to know before you apply

Who will I be working for?

Most Success Tutoring centres are independently owned and operated by franchise partners, who employ their own teams. Every job ad names the employer. Head office roles are employed by Success Tutoring directly.

Do I need a teaching degree to become a tutor?

Not usually. Many centres welcome university students and recent school leavers with strong results in the subjects they tutor. Some senior or specialist roles ask for a relevant degree or teaching experience. Each job ad lists its own requirements.

Will I need a Working With Children Check?

Yes. Tutoring is child-related work, so you will need the check required where you work, such as a Working With Children Check or blue card in Australia, or police vetting in New Zealand. The employer will explain the process. Please don't upload check numbers or ID with your application.

How long does it take to apply?

About five minutes if you have your CV ready. You don't need an account, and your answers are saved on your device as you go.

What happens after I apply?

You'll get a confirmation email straight away. The hiring team reads every application personally, and shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview. No automated system makes hiring decisions.

What if there's no job near me right now?

You can register your interest with a centre near you. If a suitable role opens up, the centre team may contact you.
